Safwan Modir - known as Saff is the Co-Founder & Chief Operating Officer of Al Haboob Racing. Born and raised in Jeddah, Saff built his early career in luxury hospitality, becoming the youngest Saudi to serve as General Manager of a 5-star hotel. Fluent in Arabic, English, and French and educated in Lebanon, he combined discipline, leadership, and an eye for world-class experiences into everything he touched.
In 2021, he made a pivotal shift, trading hotel corridors for desert tracks. Together with childhood friend Omar Almaeena, Saff co-founded RedSea Camel Co., a venture that is modernising camel breeding and racing into a structured investment business. Under his leadership, Al Haboob Racing has become one of the most ambitious and creatively driven teams in the sport.
Saff is also co-founder of Fatha Productions and co-star of the Netflix hit Camel Quest , a series that brought the world of Saudi camel racing to a global audience. His vision is clear: to evolve camel racing into a global pop-cultural force, while preserving the soul and heritage of the sport.
